VDC Architect - Interior Design

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Develop and coordinate interior design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings.
Prepare detailed architectural and interior design documentation for construction.
Develop furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, finishes, elevations, sections, and interior details.
Coordinate interior design requirements with architectural, structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
Review drawings and models for design consistency, constructability, and coordination.
Support development and coordination of VDC/BIM models.
Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and project discussions.
Prepare material, finish, and furniture schedules as required.
Identify design conflicts and coordinate solutions with relevant project teams.
Ensure drawings and models comply with project standards and quality requirements.
Assist in quantity take-offs and documentation related to interior works when required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience, preferably with strong exposure to interior design projects.
Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, and detailing.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
Strong technical drawing and documentation skills.
Ability to understand design intent and convert concepts into detailed construction documentation.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
