VDC Architect - Interior Design

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Develop and coordinate interior design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings.

  • Prepare detailed architectural and interior design documentation for construction.

  • Develop furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, finishes, elevations, sections, and interior details.

  • Coordinate interior design requirements with architectural, structural, MEP, and other disciplines.

  • Review drawings and models for design consistency, constructability, and coordination.

  • Support development and coordination of VDC/BIM models.

  • Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and project discussions.

  • Prepare material, finish, and furniture schedules as required.

  • Identify design conflicts and coordinate solutions with relevant project teams.

  • Ensure drawings and models comply with project standards and quality requirements.

  • Assist in quantity take-offs and documentation related to interior works when required.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience, preferably with strong exposure to interior design projects.

  • Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, and detailing.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.

  • Strong technical drawing and documentation skills.

  • Ability to understand design intent and convert concepts into detailed construction documentation.

  • Good coordination and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
