The Society of Ex-Budhanilkantha Students (SEBS), an organization of alumni of Budhanilkantha School has been serving its members, community, and the nation for forty years. Established in 1982 by a few hundred alumni, it has now grown to more than 5000 members from 41 batches, spread all over Nepal and the world. SEBS is looking for an energetic "Alumni Relations and Fund Raising Coordinator" as one of its first founding secretariat full-time team members.

 

Reporting to: Executive Committee of SEBS

Work Station: Golfutar, Kathmandu, Nepal

Roles and Responsibilities:

Support Current and Former Student Initiatives and Activities (45%)

  • Act as a mediator, moderate and promoter of exchange of ideas, expertise, information and resources between alumni and batches

  • Plan and organize mentorship programs and alumni networking events on a regular basis

  • Resolve Alumni Grievances along with excom members

  • Act as a focal point for alumni support, medical emergencies, financial help

Help other communities in need (10%)

  •  Build relationships, create linkages and identify social impact activities between SEBSer owned organizations, alumni chapters and NGOs

Fundraising (35%)

  • Conduct targeted fundraising drives that supports operations of SEBS NGO as an organization

Operational Activities (10%)

  • Initiate official renewals of the organizational annually

  • Lead, collaborate and work towards a successful AGM every year

  • Coordinate and collaborate with batch representatives, SEBS committees, chapters

  • Other administrative work as per requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Graduate in any discipline

  • Experience in Public Relations, partnership projects and event management required

  • Good interpersonal and team collaboration and coordinating skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications

  • Ability to work independently

  • Strong verbal and written communication in English and Nepali

Student Partnership and Admin Coordinator

Reporting to: Alumni Relations and Fund Raising Coordinator

Work Station: Golfutar, Kathmandu, Nepal

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Support the development of Budhanilkantha School (50%)

  • Plan and organize student career development activities on a monthly basis

  • Mediate internship, externship and student or club mentorship programs between alumni and students

  • Design and roll out scholarship programs for students

  • Conduct fund raising drives to fund initiatives to support the development of school and its schools

  • Resolve Student Grievances along with excom members

Operational Activities (50%)

  • Create content and update website, social media and newsletter for SEBS

  • Coordinate, organize and minute excom meetings

  • Coordinate and collaborate with batch representatives, SEBS committees, chapters to update SEBS Database

  • Other administrative work as per requirement

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Graduate in any discipline

  • Experience working with educational institutions and event management required

  • Good interpersonal and team collaboration and coordinating skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft and design applications

  • Ability to work independently

        Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute goals for HR unit

  • Oversee recruitment process, onboarding and exits so that it is completed within organization standard

  • Update, revise and develop apt policies, procedures fit for the organization

  • Improve employee engagement, branding and talent pipeline

  • Management of compensation and benefits for its timely completion

        Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with hiring managers to identify future job openings and the technical requirements for those jobs.

  • Writing job descriptions and posting to relevant media platforms.

  • Screening applicants for competency with the job requirements.

  • Arranging telephone, video, or in-person interviews.

  • Performing background and reference checks.
