Our client, a pioneer in Nepal’s fast-casual dining sector and the country’s first commercial brand dedicated to unique specialty street food with a Nepalese fusion twist. Established to bring trendy culinary concepts to the local market, the brand has rapidly evolved into a mainstream staple for young consumers, food enthusiasts, and families across the Kathmandu Valley.
They are looking to hire their first HR & Administration Officer responsible for supporting the organization's people and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning to ensure adequate staffing across outlets.
Maintain accurate employee records, employment contracts, attendance, leave, payroll inputs, final settlements, and other HR documentation in compliance with Nepal labor laws.
Support employee relations by addressing staff concerns, promoting workplace discipline, coordinating performance reviews, probation confirmations, disciplinary actions, and employee separations.
Organize employee orientation, training programs and engagement initiatives
Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and confidentiality of employee information.
Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, including office supplies, filing systems, company documentation, licenses, and workplace logistics.
Coordinate with outlet supervisors, vendors, and service providers to support smooth operations, maintain company assets, and monitor administrative requirements.
Schedule meetings, prepare correspondence and meeting minutes, follow up on action items, and prepare regular HR and operational reports.
Identify opportunities to improve HR and administrative processes and perform other duties assigned by management.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, administration, or operations.
Experience in hospitality, retail, or multi-outlet businesses is a must.
Good understanding of Nepal Labor Act and other applicable employment regulations.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace.
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, growing business environment.
