We are looking for a Costing & Design Engineer for a leading electrical panel manufacturing company in Nepal.
The ideal candidate should have experience in designing and costing LT Panels and Distribution Boards, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical component selection.
Costing & Design Engineer – LT Panels & Distribution Boards
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Prepare cost estimates and quotations for LT Panels and Distribution Boards based on customer and project requirements.
Design electrical panels using AutoCAD with a strong understanding of industry standards.
Possess in-depth knowledge of switchgear, control gear, and associated electrical components.
Select appropriate switchgear and components as per project specifications and technical requirements.
Perform electrical and mechanical costing, estimation, and BOM (Bill of Materials) preparation.
Coordinate with the sales and project teams to deliver technically accurate and commercially competitive proposals.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Degree in electrical engineering.
2–3 years in a similar role.
Strong technical knowledge of LT Panels, Distribution Boards, Switchgear, and Control Gear.
Good understanding of electrical drawings, component selection, and costing methodologies.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
